Ms. Beverly Ann Locks was born on July 12, 1954 to Mrs. Florence and Mr. Clarence Locks.  Ms. Locks attended Gregory Elementary School, R. G. Lockett Jr. High and Abraham Lincoln Sr. High School.  Beverly joined Beebe Tabernacle CME Church at an early age.  She later joined Friendship Baptist church and served as a nurse aid.  She was the fourth child of five.  Beverly was employed with the Rowan Company, the Gulf Printing Company, The Compact Center, NRG, and the City of Houston.  Beverly and Kerry Stephens met in 1996 and have been happily married for 26 years.  She loved and cared for every person she met, providing words of kindness and encouragement with a smile like no other.  Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and three older siblings.  She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, DeShonda (Mark); one son, Jamal; one grandson, Jefon; one granddaughter, Ja'keria; one brother, Lonnie (Peggy); and one great grand-daughter, Amari.   She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
