Billy Roy Henson, Sr., was born November 6, 1935, to the union of George and Verna Henson preceded in death.  Billy Roy Henson, Sr, moved from Nacogdoches to Houston, Texas where he met and married his lovely wife Ruth Ann Henson, to this union in marriage were (2) two children; Billy Roy Henson, Jr., and Eva (Henson-Alix) preceded in death, and another son, Charles A. Denson.

On March 11, 2002, the Lord called his lovely wife Ruth Ann Henson home to glory.  Also, his parent George and Verna, had other siblings, his two aunts and one uncle preceded in death.

Billy Roy enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with family and friends, but his favorite passed time hobby was fishing.  Family and friends called him Billy Ray, others preferred calling him Roy.  He was a great auto mechanic with many years of experience.

Billy Ray Henson, Sr., accepted our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at an early age, and was baptized under the leadership of W. I. Menefee.  Billy Ray Henson, Sr., departed this life on,Tuesday, March 4, 2025.  He leaves to cherish his memories two sons; Billy Ray Henson, Jr., and Charles Denson (Donna); he also leaves to cherish his memories (4) sisters, (6) brothers, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
