Bridget Michelle James Gray graciously entered this world on May 17, 1967 in Houston, TX. She was the first born child to Carl James Jr and Betty Woodard. Her mother later married Morris Woodard Sr, who helped raise Bridget to become the woman who many loved and admired.

Bridget accepted Christ at an early age and continued her life as a proud woman of God. In 1986, Bridget graduated from Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas. She later went on to pursue a fruitful culinary career as a Sous Chef in Houston's medical center.

On July 29, 2009, Bridget married her forever love, Rodney Gray, and together they adopted their fur-baby, Neal (Pooh), whom she loved and adored.

Bridget was a breath of fresh air to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She loved to cook for her family and friends and was known to shop until she dropped. When she wasn't cooking or listening to the Isley Brothers, Bridget spent her time showing off her bright smile and contagious laugh, never missing the opportunity to tell a joke and bring joy to those around her.

Bridget departed this life on August 18, 2021. She is preceded in death by her late husband Rodney Gray and her father Carl James Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children: Michael James (Shakela) and Delisa Taylor (De'Vonta); her granddaughter Kamryn; her mother Betty Woodard (Morris); her sister Lawanda James; her brother Morris Woodard Jr. (Stephanie); her God-daughter Arianna Bradford, and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
