Charles Lewis Parker, Jr, was born on April 7, 1953, to the union of Charles and Hattie (Scott) Parker.

Charles grew up in Houston, Texas where he attended Jack Yates Senior High School.  Following High School Charles began working for Vinson and Elkins Law Firm where he worked in the Xerox Department for 36 years.  Charles loved staying busy, so he later took on a role at Texas Southern University where he worked until officially retiring in 2020.

Charles' unions throughout his life: blessed him with 3 beautiful daughters, Traci & Shoan (Loraine, Charecka (Lillie) and 1handsome son, Charles (Rowena).

Charles was full of life and there was never a dull moment while in his presence.  Charles was a family man, loved to dress nicely, lover of nature, very meticulous about his landscaping, comical, loved to dance, and he loved music!  Charles took pride in being a father, son and uncle.  Charles took pride in helping in any way that he could help with.  He would give you his last if he had it.  He will always be our Charlie Love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Parker, Sr., and Hattie Scott West; grandparents, Lee Scott and Estella Matthews Scott.

Charles leaves to mourn his memories his children Tricia Rachell, Shoan Parker (Ryan), Charecka Wilson (Jeffrey) and Charles L. Parker, III (Daisy), all of Houston, Texas; sister, Carolyn R. Thomas (Chris); brother in law, Robert Thomas; grandchildren, Clarissa, jasmine, Kannan, Avia, Tristian, Ashoanti,; nieces and nephews; Kimberly Cunningham (Ronnie), Dedria C Tarver (Maxie), Kevia L. Payne (John), Ronald Cunningham, ChaiRon, Khole, Khamille, Liam Cunningham, Khingston and Khy Rie; his bet friend, Ricky Johnson of many years.

Companion: Sammie "Peaches" Blakely

Cousins: Zanta, Yolanda, Laquith, Debra, Verinda, Locha, Vickie, Jackie, Tommie, Brandon, Kelly, Shondria, Zenna,Keahra, Chezmond, Corrington and a host of other loved ones, family and friends.
