Charlie Falls was born on August 29, 1941 to the late Alexander and Frances Falls in Jeanerette, Louisiana. Charlie was the 13th child born to the Falls family. He graduated from Jeanerette High School and went on to pursue employment. He later moved to Houston, TX and obtained employment with the Houston Rice Mill. Ultimately, he was a dedicated and beloved employee at Mrs. Baird's Bakery where he served for 30 years until retirement.

Charlie was united in matrimony with the late Flora Falls and to this union, 3 children were born; Andre, Alexander III, and LaTonya Falls. He later married Alice Falls in November of 1991 and
experienced 33 years of marital bliss until his final earthly inhabitancy.

During his life, Charlie was a very devout and faithful servant for the Lord. He was a long-term member at First Missionary Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon in December of 1996. He also served faithfully as a deacon at Greater Mt. Carmel MBC until his health declined. Although his body lacked the ability to continue serving, Charlie remained faithful in service with his prayers and thoughts.
