Clarence Taylor was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 26, 1941 to Robert Taylor and Naomi
Taylor.

He attended public school in Fort Worth. Clarence attended Texas Southern University and earned a
Bachelor's Degree. He went on to earn his Master Degree from Prairie View A&M University. He
taught for more than 30 years for Houston Independent School District.

In 1978 Clarence married Mary Guillory with whom he had two children, Reagan and Clarence II.
Clarence loved bowling and participated in many competitions. His second love was working on cars
and trucks. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching and believed in the importance of education.

Clarence entered eternal rest on October 19, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father and mother
Robert Taylor and Naomi Taylor, as well as his brothers Robert Taylor Jr. and AC Marshall.
Clarence is survived by his daughter Reagan Taylor, son ClarenceTaylor, and granddaughter
Carrington Taylor, along with his siblings Ruth Shepard (James Shepard) and Robbie Taylor Homer (William Homer) as well as many nieces and nephew.
