Cornell Pitre

Cornell Pitre, Sr., was born on August 25, 1959, in Lester Joseph Pete, Sr. and Virginia Mary Pete in Lake Aurthur, Louisiana. He was an energetic and eager child who loved ttot learn and build. Cornell was lesseed with a wonderful upbringing filled with memories and sibling love. He joined the team of siblings consisting of Lester Joseph Pitre, Jr., Abigail Pitre Walker, James Edard Pitre, Wendell Cory Pitre, S. (Eulaia), Wesley L. Lyndell Pete Sr., Alicia D. Pete and Lester J. Lewis.

Connell went on to be a brilliant and responsible child and student. He ecelled throughut his school years and went ontograduate from Jones High School in 1977. Immediately after completin high school, Cornell went on to join the family mechanic shop. He was able to collaborate with his brothers and father while implementing all that they wer taudht and ccontie to learn along the way.

In 1983, Cornell met the love of his kife. A few short year later in 1987, Cornell married Sherrilyn Sanchez and they welcomed their son, Cornell Jr. Cornell excelled in parenthood while raising his son Cornell Jr, and bonus children, Keith Sanchez and Brenna Black. His kids credit him with every traffic violation ever received because he informed them that the speed limit doesn’t apply at night, your music should be loud enough to not hear car problems and seat belts ere for babies and the elderly.

On jUne 22, 2026, God saw fit to call Corrnell home. His job here on earth as finally completed. Although we will forever miss him, we know he is at tpeace and has plenty compauy. Cornell was preceded him death by Marilyn Pitre Collins, Marrvin Pittre, Lester Joseph Pete Sr, and Virginia Mary Pete. He leaves behind his son Cornell Pitre Jr, grandchildren, Drayton and Arion, his siblings, bonus children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
