David McKinley Wilson, Jr. was born on May 16, 1976, in Houston, Texas, to Sharon Janet Carter and David McKinley Wilson, Sr. He transitioned to eternity on March 23, 2024. He was a son, brother, and father who was kind, soft-spoken, humble, and loved by everyone.
David accepted Christ at a very young age. He loved the Lord, and was a true believer. He was educated in the Houston Independent School District and the Aldine School District, and he graduated from Forest Brook High School in 1995. He later attended Houston Community College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration, and attended Texas Southern University, where he was pursuing his bachelor's degree. He was employed by Advantage Resourcing for many years as a Support Chat Specialist with AT&T until his death.
David had a love for music and acting. He, along with his friends and family, formed the rap group "Reign of Terror" in high school with the stage name David "Too Deep" Wilson, Jr. David made his acting debut in an episode of Bordersville, Season 2, and he went on to be a part of multiple acting projects, such as landing a role in the movie "Plain Sight."
He leaves his family with the memory of a loving heart and a kind spirit. He is survived by his daughter, Makenlee L. Wilson; mother, Sharon Janet Carter; father, David M. Wilson, Sr. (Carrie); 3 sisters, Michelle D. Lacey (Darrell), Keidra L. Carter, and Sarah B. Ogu-Ash (Matthew); 2 brothers, Denzel T. Wilson and Chinedu N. Ogu (Amaris); and a host of relatives and friends. He has 4 very special aunts, Cathy G. Carter, JoAnn Simpson, Mary D. Davis, and Doris Jean Sams, who love him dearly. He also leaves behind an uncle, Larry L. Carter.
David is in a better place, resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
