Debrah R
Payne
Jan 17, 1958 — Jan 7, 2024
Debrah Ruth Payne was born on January 17, 1958, in Navasota, Texas, to James H. Payne, Jr. (Butch) and Annie M. Simmons Payne (Doll). Debrah's profound love for the Lord defined her character, and she embraced Christ at an early age.
Her educational journey spanned Navasota, Austin, and Houston, TX, leading to her attendance at Prairie View A&M University. Debrah's professional endeavors commenced with United Steel, and she played a vital role at ENRON until its dissolution in 2001. Her dedicated service continued until she retired from EOG in 2015.
In the face of health challenges, Debrah exhibited remarkable strength, attending dialysis treatments three days a week for four hours. Her resilience and
determination were truly admirable. Beyond her professional life, Debrah was renowned for her impeccable style, maintaining a radiant appearance
through weekly hair appointments and regular nail sessions. She greeted each day with elegance, leaving a lasting impression on those around her.
January 1st held a special place in Debrah's heart, marked by her tradition of accepting Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner invitations. Her joyous spirit extended to the celebration of her birthday throughout the entire month of January.
One of her last wishes was to make it out of the hospitalbefore her birthday. She did, and she had a heavenly invite, which was the greatest invite of all.
