Derrell Rafael Quinney was born on August 11, 1989, to Tangela Lachelle Quinney-Williams and Charles Williams Jr. (Stepdad) in Houston, Tx. Derrell was a loving son, brother and friend. He was one of four children. He attended various HISD schools and graduated from Evan E. Worthing C/o 2007. At an early age he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Derrell loved to cook.

As a young child he loved to play video games and hang out with his brothers. He loved to wear cowboy boots as a young child. He was a carefree young man that truly loved his brothers, and they certainly recognized his deep love for them.

He was generous and would have given you his last. He was always available when you needed him, and you can call on him at any time of the day or night.

Derrell was preceded in death by his mother, Tangela Quinney-Williams; his grandmother, Rose Payne Quinney; and his great grandmother, Emma Lee Allen.

Derrell leaves behind to cherish his memory, his stepdad; Charles Williams Jr; his aunts, Greta Richardson; Mona Carpenter; Roycelyn Williams. His uncles, Albert Payne and Morris Pipkins; his great aunt, Gloria Carter (Sidney); his brothers, Terrell Quinney, Da'Marcus Williams, and Devin Williams; his girlfriend, Taketra Cook; his niece, A 'Zoriyah Williams; his nephews, Jayden T. Quinney, and Kaiden T. Quinney; his cousins, Alfred Swift Jr, Regina Swift Whitfield, Monica Swift, Chasitee Faultry, Aniyah Johnson, Sherice Sneed (Jason), Darryl Hawkins, Delincia Williams (Dee), Andre Williams Jr., Lauranesha Williams and a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
