Donnis Ray Bibbs, lovingly known as "Nookie," was born on July 1, 1969, in Houston, Texas, to Anthony and Shirley Pittman.

He received his education through the Houston Independent School District and proudly represented Evan E. Worthing High School—the true pride of Sunnyside!

From an early age, Nookie became the family comedian, always ready with a joke to bring laughter, especially to his sisters. Throughout his life, he was known by many names—Nookie, Nook, Gator, and Disco Nook—all of which reflected his vibrant personality and unforgettable presence.

He is preceded in death by his father Anthony, mother Shirley, sister Lynn and brother Bruce.

Nookie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him: his daughter, Dominique Bibbs; his six sisters, Jeannette (Alonzo), Freda (Verniss Jr.), Lisa (Donald), Sharon, Angie, and Tangiehis two brothers, Jody Fletcher and Alvin Bibbs ("Rinky Dink"); brother- in- law Carl and his two beloved granddaughters, Aaliyah and Jaqualyn. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.

Nookie will always be remembered for his infectious humor, his love of people, and for being the life of every gathering.
