Earnestine Clark affectionately known as Sweet, Grandma, Stine, and Granny went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2024, after living for 82 years.

Earnestine was the eldest child of Haroldine Tolliver and Earnest Brow, Jr. She lived on Rosalee Street in LaMarque, Texas where she was raised by her grandparents Eldora and Earnest Brow, Sr.

She was a member of Hunter's Chapel C.M.E. in Texas City, TX. She had a passion for cooking, fishing, playing Bingo, and cards with her mother and her girls. Mostly, she had a deep love for her children and family. She was a devoted grandmother, who was the "Grandma Daycare" for all her grandchildren. She loved and nurtured each one of them at her home. The great memories created with her children and grandchildren will be shared for generations.

Earnestine was a strong believer in God. When you visited her home, there was an open bible, given to her by her grandmother Eldora Brow, in the foyer. Her hopes were that all who entered would pause for a moment and read a verse.

In 1960 she married the "love of her life", DeSoto Clark, Sr. They were married for 64 years and raised 5 children. Earnestine and Desoto Sr. made sure their children understood with God all things are possible.

Earnestine leaves behind 5 children; Emery R. Williams, II (Evette), Wanda L. Price (Ronald), Annette Smith (Kevin), LaTina R. Hood (Leodis), DeSoto Clark, Jr. (Annette); 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; Kaela Taylor, Kaden Clark, Darnell Smith, Emery Russell Williams, III (wife: Nicole, children: Emma and Evin), Erica Williams (Cade, Chancellor and Codie); Ronald D'Wayne Price (wife: Jennifer, children: Brielle, Trey and Jayven), Chelsi Mariah Price (Haven); Elexis Williams (Emier and Ermani).

Earnestine is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Brow, Jr. and Haroldine Tolliver and siblings Ernest Brow III, Patricia Brown, Betty Bennett, Thomas Brow, and Evelyn Randal.

Living Siblings: Thelma Oliver, Geraldine Tolliver, Lillian Tolliver, and Moses Brown. She also has a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews that she loved dearly as her own.
