Ella Faye Turner was born in Maynard, Texas to Earnestine Mosley.

She graduated from A. R. Turner High School.  She later met and married Horace E. Turner, Jr.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Horace E. Turner, her mother, Earnestine Mayes and her brother, Donald R. Mosley.

Ella is survived by her sons, Steven, Myron and Arsean all of Houston, TX; god daughter/niece, Michelle Scott of Rosharon, TX; sister, Agnes Major (Maxie Sr.) of Coldspring, TX; seven grandchildren, Porche and Qyana Turner of New Mexico, Alexis, Joseph , Xavier, Armann and Fabian, all of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Aliyah and Alani turner of Houston, TX; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
