Ezra Galloway, Jr. July 18, 1966 – December 24, 2024

On July 18, 1966, a beautiful life began in Houston, Texas, with the birth of Ezra Galloway, Jr., to the union of Ezra Galloway, Sr., and Jacqueline Dorsey Galloway, their first-born child.

Ezra embraced his faith early in life, being baptized and accepting Christ. He attended school in the Houston Independent School District and graduated from Madison High School, where he showcased his football talent, attending Lamar College and Texas Southern University.

Ezra dedicated 16 years of exceptional service to Continental Airlines before making a career shift in 2004 to join Union Pacific Railroad as a Conductor. He quickly became a valued member of the brotherhood, giving tireless hours to a career he loved.

Known for his kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter, Ezra never met a stranger, and his smile could light up any room. He had a passion for cooking, barbecuing, and restoring vintage cars.

Ezra was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Captolia Galloway, and Jerome Dorsey Sr. and Rita Dorsey.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Ezra Galloway, Sr. and Jacqueline Dorsey Galloway; his daughter, Morgan Galloway; his grandchildren Jordyn Galloway and Khaleesi Hamilton: sister, Tara Galloway; brothers, Jonah and Joshua Howard, a nephew and niece, Anthony Galloway (Cynthia) and Gabrielle Phoenix, who were like his own children ; nieces, Naomi Howard, Rylee Howard and nephews  Cy'von, Noah and Jonah Howard, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
