Her Journey:

Freida was born on December 26, 1955, at Selma Alabama military base, to loving parents Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Lucas, Sr. As the second eldest of seven children, Freida was raised in a faith - filled home and was baptized at age 6 by Pastor White at Shiloh Baptist Church. She was active in the Sunday School, Youth Choir, BTU, and she began teaching early in Sunday School as a youth to adults and children as her teaching skills progress significantly.

Freida attended Reynolds Elementary, Woods on Jr High School, and graduated from Madison High School excelling in her academic courses at the University of Houston. She was a created writer and had a photographic memory when it came to the word of God. Freida was a scholar beyond her years not just in academic, but in saving souls for God. Freida was a scholar of saving souls for God. Freida realized earlier in her life this was her calling and purpose in life not to lose any souls by the waste side for God, and to gather as many souls as she could for him. Freida got her degree in helping people come to Christ Jesus.

In her leisure time, Freida like to crochet, write, read her bible, sing, listen to gospel music, make ceramic and she excelled in her gifts. She never sold anything to you she always gave them as gifts to everyone. This pleased her. She knew her gift came from God. Freida loved being around her family especially her little nieces and nephews. She loved people and she loved to smile. With all her medical challenges, and she had them all her life, but she could always love you and smile for you and with you.
