Obituary

George Cellist Johnson, Jr. was born on December 9,1964 at Herman Hospital, in Houston, Texas to George Cellist Johnson, Sr and Willie Mae Jackson of Houston, Texas.

He attended Alcott Elementary, Hartman Jr. high and Jesse H. Jones, where he graduated from class of 1982. Being very athletic, George excelled in many sports like basketball. But he had a special love for skating and listening to reggae music.

George chose his trade and became a Certified Master Welder after attending a welding school in Houston. He worked for the city of Houston Parks and Recreation. He then went to work at Union Pacific Railroad. He then went to work for Metro Rail. George continued to work for the City of Arcola in Arcola, TX until his health began to decline, although he had hopes of returning. Through each employer being his natural self, George made many lifelong friends and memories.

George was always very helpful to all in the neighbors and neighborhood and all he knew, and they all called him Mr. Johnson "The Helper"

George was very courteous and helpful in his neighborhood. The neighbors called him Mr. Johnson "The Helper" as he was always willing and able to lend a hand, a ear or a joke.

George was preceded in death by his father George Cellist Johnson, Sr., grandparents Lula Mae Ricks, Ethel Williams Cellist Wilburn, his great grand Estie Johnson, and his grandson Tre'Cynn C. Johnson, niece Brittany Guidry, Cousins Otis Campbell and Luois Campbell, Sr. Aunt and Uncle Luberta and Alvin craft. Special friends, Curtis, Brock, Wyatt and Lester Green.

He Leaves to cherish his memory.

His Mother, Willie Mims, two sisters Juana Johnson and Ramona Johnson Tindall, one son; Tremaine Johnson, one daughter, Alexandria Cotton, nephews Reginald Haynes, Christopher Davis and Carlton Tindall. One grandson Tremain

E. Johnson, two grand-daughters Crystal, Sam and Trenecia Johnson. Special Aunt and Uncle Curtis and Janice Brown. A host of other aunts, great nieces, nephews and friends.
