Gloria McMillion was born to the late J.B. and Bertha Abbs on September 17, 1957, in Bellville, Texas. After graduating from Bellville High School, she moved to Houston to pursue new opportunities. Later in life, Gloria accepted Christ and was baptized at the Southwest Community Christian Center (The Bridge), embracing her faith with passion.

Determined to forge her own path, Gloria pursued a career in Information Technology, defying age-related stereotypes in the industry. She worked diligently and until recent held a position at Norton Rose Fulbright Law Firm, as Service Desk Analyst where her skills and dedication shine.

Gloria enjoyed life to the fullest, living on her own terms. She cherished moments with family and friends, finding joy in both simple pleasures and grand adventures. Whether it was exploring new places on her road trips, or sharing laughter with loved ones, Gloria's vibrant spirit touched everyone around her. Her legacy of resilience, faith, and joy will be remembered by all who knew her.

On September 11, 2024, our beloved Gloria Jean McMillion, transitioned from this earthy life into her eternal life. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, JB and Bertha Abbs; Grandparents: Jordan and Ellen Abbs, Clara Jean Oliver-White; Aunt: Cecilia Lee. Gloria leads to cherish her memories, Son:Dontaeveon DeShaun McMillion of Houston; Sister: Thelma Lee Anderson (Isiah) of Houston; Brother: John Abbs (Mary) of Houston; Two Granddaughters; Neices: Sharlet Odems, (Bennie)of Houston Trenity Abbs of Houston; Nephews: Lonnie Odems Jr. (Stephanie) of Houston, Ramon Odems Sr. (Niesha) of Chicago, Isaiah Brown of Houston; a host of Great Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and love ones.
