Hailey Symone Turner

With hearts filled with both sorrow and gratitude to God, we celebrate the beautiful life and cherished memory of Hailey Symone Turner, who peacefully departed this life on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the age of 23.

Born on December 9, 2002, to Dwain and Pamela Turner, Hailey was a precious gift whose warmth, quiet strength, and loving spirit touched the lives of everyone blessed to know her. As the youngest of five children, she was deeply loved by her family and held a special place in each of their hearts.

Hailey was a dedicated student whose commitment to learning and personal growth was evident throughout her academic journey. In 2021, she graduated from Manvel High School, an accomplishment made even more remarkable by simultaneously earning an Associate of General Studies Degree from Alvin Community College. Continuing to pursue her educational aspirations, Hailey attended Sam Houston State University, where she embraced new opportunities and worked toward achieving her future goals.

One of Hailey’s greatest passions was volleyball. From her earliest years through her high school career, she loved the game and devoted herself to it with enthusiasm, discipline, and determination. Volleyball was more than a sport to Hailey—it was a place where lifelong friendships were formed, valuable lessons were learned, and joyful memories were created. Her competitive spirit, teamwork, and perseverance were evident both on and off the court.

Most importantly, Hailey loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Bethel Institutional Missionary Baptist Church where she was baptized at an early age. She was always willing to serve and occasionally assisted in the church’s Audio Ministry, helping ensure that the worship experience reached those gathered to hear God’s Word. Her quiet acts of service reflected her heart to support the ministry and contribute wherever she was needed.

Hailey was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Florinda Deshea White and Brandi Nicole Turner.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted parents, Dwain and Pamela Turner; her loving sister, Ja’Neal Alexis Paige (Chris); her loving brother, Hal Bates Turner; her beloved grandmother, Ethel Turner; her aunt, Lisa Turner; her uncle, Darron Turner (Deidra); her cherished nieces, Morgan, Keiara and Aniya; her beloved nephews, Jay and Aiden; and a host of cousins, extended family members, church family, classmates, teammates, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Though her earthly journey was far shorter than any of us desired, Hailey’s life was one of purpose, promise, and quiet faithfulness. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle heart, unwavering determination, servant’s spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched, every memory she created, and every heart that continues to love her.

While we grieve her absence, we rejoice in the hope found in Jesus Christ, knowing that those who place their trust in Him shall live again.
