Mr.Harry Petty was born on December 25,1928 (95 years old ) in Waterproof Louisana ,to the parents of Neal and Annie Petty.  He married Mary Sue Johnson on July 23,1957 then moved  to Houston in 1961 where He worked for Spawls & Glass until

He retired. Harry was also apart of Local Union 18. He was a devoted husband and father to 5 children. Mr. Harry Petty was affectionately known as Doc, Skeeter,Shortie,Pep, Papa and he proclaimed himself "A Hellva Stud". He enjoyed cooking, walking, fishing and scratching his Lotto tickets. He was a firm believer in Christ and was baptized at Impact Kingdom Center.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents Neal and Annie Petty, brother Hezikah, Neal jr,and sister Josephine.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory to his Wife Mary Petty, Sister Christine Petty, Brother Alonzo Petty, five children Joesph, Barbara, Thomas, Kelly (Darnald Sr) and Lisa (Stacy Sr) Grandkids Ashley,Stacy Jr, Emily, Hasani, Jamel Ola,Terrance P, Toran, Thomas, Timothy, LaTrice Tamisha,Terrance D, Steven, Erika, Bishlam and through love Darnald jr. and Daphne Kimble. He also leaves behind a host of great grandkids, nieces,cousins,extended family and friends.
