Herbert K. Hogans Life
Herbert King Hogans was born on February 25, 1927, in Galveston, Texas. He moved to Houston, Texas at an early age.
After moving to Houston, he later joined the Military Armed forces and became an immensely proud Military Veteran.
Known as "H.K." by is family and friends, he was a caring and loving person who lived a very fruitful life. He retired from Pioneer Bus Company after over 50 years of service where he worked as a Mechanic and Bus Driver.
In 1961he successfully completed a training course in General Law Enforcement and Civil Defense with Harris County Precinct 2 Constable's Department. He later held an Honorary Law Enforcement Commission with the late Constable Ruben Davis office in Fort Bend County.
H.K. was a very loyal and devoted member of the Knights of Columbus Council 803. He was a highly active member of the St. Peter The Apostle catholic Church until his health declined and he became unable to drive at age 94.
The Lord called H.K. to his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
He leaves to cherish precious memories one son; Kenneth (Juanita), four daughters; Herbert Jean (Allen), Linda Moore (I.J.), Carol Grim (Jean Claude) and Arnola Scott, a verify devoted niece, Betty Brock Bell, a devoted and dear friend, Charles Oglesby, 31 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren, very good neighbors and dear friends.
