Ida Mae Glenn Anderson, age 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at home in Houston, Texas. She was born August 9, 199, in Conroe, Texas to John and Willie (Hudson) Glenn.
She was a graduate of Jack Yates High School. She married Earlie Anderson in 1947 in Houston. To this union they had one son, Gregory Earl Anderson.
Ida was a secretary for Houston Independent School District for 37 years. Ida truly loved shopping, traveling, fishing and family gatherings. She lived life to the fullest through cooking, and spending time with her nephews and cousins. She ha d uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way by sharing her faith in Christ Jesus.
Proceeded in death: John Glen (father), Willie Mae (mother), Betty Joyce Ealy (sister), Gregory Anderson (son), Brittany Glenn (niece).
She was a member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Mission and Culinary Department.
Her memories will be cherished by: Constance Glenn Pleasant (sister), Dennis troy Glenn (Shelina); Juan Pleasant, Lawrence Ealy, Dennis Troy Glenn, II; Cahterine Anderson (daughter in law); and a host of other relatives, friends, and church family.
