Ida Mae Noel, aged 89, of Cecelia, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on March 3rd, 2026. Born on December 14th, 1936 in Cecelia, Louisiana Ida was the daughter of the late Marie Sam and Willis Davis. Ida attended school in Beaumont and worked 28 years at Charity Hospital in W16 as a CNA. Known for her gentle touch and warm smile, she provided care and comfort to countless patients, earning the respect and love of both her colleagues and those she served. In 1951, Ida married the love of her life, John Wilbert Noel Sr. Together they built a beautiful life and raised six children. Their home was always filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of family. Ida took great pride in creating a welcoming home where everyone felt comfortable and cared for. To her children, she was loving yet fair, always making sure to instill strong values, faith, and the importance of family. Ida enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for loved ones, sharing stories, and offering wisdom from her many years of life experience. Her kindness, strength, and nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her. Ida's faith in God was the foundation of her life. She believed deeply in the power of prayer and trusted God through every season of her life. Ida made sure to pass her faith down to her children, teaching them to pray, trust in God, and keep Him at the center of their lives. Whether it was praying over her family, offering words of encouragement, or reminding others that God was always in control, her faith was evident in the way she lived. She believed that no problem was too big for God and often reminded her children that prayer could carry them through anything. Ida is survived by her husband of 75 years, John Wilbert Noel Sr.; her children Peggy Ann Daigle (Allen), Jill Marie Lewis (Bradley), John Wilbert Noel Jr. (Jo), Elinus Paul Noel Sr., Rickey Martin Noel Sr. (Patrisha), and Lisa Marie Noel (Doyle); She also leaves to cherish her memory Natrisha, Tonya, Nyeika, Keion, Rickey Jr., Nicole, Latoya, Elinus Jr., Rickelle, and Chelsea.
