Life Journey

Jacob Fulton Webb Jr., 61, of Houston, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born and raised in Houston, Jacob lived a life filled with service, strength, and love.

A proud graduate of Ross Shaw Sterling High School, Class of 1982, Jacob served honorably in the United States Army before beginning a distinguished career in law enforcement. For more than three decades, he dedicated his life to protecting and serving as a police officer and detective with the Houston Police Department, later continuing his service as a Major with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.

Commitment & Accomplishments

Education and leadership were central to Jacob's life. He earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees through the University of Houston system, achieved his Master Peace Officer Certification, served as President of the Afro-American Police Officers League, and was a devoted member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

Passions & Legacy

Jacob loved the Dallas Cowboys, traveling, reading, and working with his hands. Most of all, he cherished time with his daughter and grandson, leaving them a legacy of adventure, knowledge, and unconditional love.

Family

Jacob is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Webb; his grandson, Roman Webb-Lewis; his sisters, Stacy Rayon, Tracy Oliphant, Christina White; his brothers, Melvin Gibson, Marcus Wade, and Chris White; along with a host of extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob "Jabo" Webb Sr.

Jacob's spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched. His strength, loyalty, and love will continue to guide and inspire those who knew and loved him.
