Obituary

There is a celebration in Heaven when God calls his own home. On, December 26, 2023, God called, Jacquline Regina Williams McLemore home to glory to claim her well-deserved reward. To those who loved her, she was affectionately known as Regina or Jill. After a strenuous battle with cancer, Regina entered eternal peace on Tuesday morning.

Born in Houston, Texas on September 28, 1955, to the late Jimmy Fondal and Besty Ann Williams.  Regina grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Jack Yates High School in 1975.  She credited her grandmother with introducing her to God. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of St. John's United Methodist Church for over 25 years.  There she was a resolute servant, ministering on several auxiliaries to include Choir and supporting the Homeless Ministry.

Jacquline married the love to her life Darryl Lynn McLemore on November 17, 2008.  The love they shared was unbreakable and their bond grew stronger during her illness.

Regina was a CT Coordinator at MD Anderson Hospital where she served for over 29 years. After her retirement, she was continually active in the Recovery community, the church, and cared for her grandchildren daily.   Later she pursued a career of love and passion. She became a Recovery Coach

and worked for Houston Recovery Center where she worked closely with the Harris Country Court System. She was doing her dream job, supporting inmates and other recovering addicts to find hope.  Creating one success story at a time.  Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul, diligent worker, always willing to cheer up others with her wicket sense of humor. Regina always had an entrepreneur spirit.  She was never without a side hustle. Her jewelry company, fitness program, and clothing assessory home store.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents (Thelma Lowe and Albert James Williams. One brother (Troy Lewis), one child (Marcus Brown) and one grandchild (Marquis Williams Jr.)
