On February 12, 1939, Jack Armstrong was born to Elizabeth Paige-Armstrong and James Armstrong. He was the only child, and he was baptized at rock Island Church in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Jake attended Central High School in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Jake worked at Cameron Iron Works for years until his retirement.
Jake was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Paige-Armstrong; son, Darvin K. Armstrong; and loving wife, Louvelle Armstrong.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Deborah Armstrong of Houston, Sons, Darryl Armstrong of Houston, Derrick Armstrong of Roswell, Georgia, granddaughters, Tyra Armstrong Darrian Bradford-Armstrong, Renesha Marks, all of Houston, Texas; grandsons, Jarrett J. Armstrong, Darius Willliams, of Houston, Texas; Sixteen grandchildren, one great granddaughter, Athena Elizabeth Mosley born October 1, 2025, other relatives and friends.
