Jeanette Marie
Williams-Wade
Sep 19, 1958 — Nov 25, 2023
A believer in God through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, loquacious, gregarious, educated, friendly, professional, a lover of life and people are just a few words to describe her. Jeanette Marie Williams-Wade was the firstborn child and daughter to Rubye Lee Jeffro Williams and Johnny Edward Williams, Sr. on September 18, 1958. On November 25, 2023 she heard the voice of the Lord say, "Servant well done!" It was a clarion call from life's labor to eternal reward.
Jeanette confessed Christ at an early age and attended church services regularly. Her current membership at The Fountain of Praise under the leadership of Pastor Remus E. Wright, Sr. spanned about a 30 year period. She was involved in many facets of ministry and Toastmasters was one of her longest affiliations (about 25 years).
Jeanette's educational endeavors were vast. She graduated from Ross S. Sterling Senior High School in 1977 and studied at Texas Southern University, the University of Houston, Houston Community College and several other schools where she received certificates and certifications to complement her careers in Oil & Gas, Insurance and Sales. She also worked as an Executive Assistant and during her last employment endeavor she was a Certified/Skilled Home Health Associate. It was in this field where she met Matthew, a special patient who was near and dear to her heart. During her 40+ year career, Jeanette worked 25/8. She was always going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that tasks were done and things were completed.
Jeanette was raised with old fashioned values and had a tremendous love for family, friends and co-workers. Never growing stagnant or bored she had many hobbies including writing, Facebook, jewelry, shopping, traveling and casinos. She was eclectic and traditional and had a true passion for fashion. She had SO many clothes! She will truly be missed!
Jeanette was preceded in death by her mother Rubye Lee Jeffro Williams, father Johnny Edward Williams, Sr., brother Joseph Williams and sister Kim Marks.
Let to cherish her precious memories are her brothers, Johnny Edward Williams, Jr., Jerome Curtis Williams, Jackie Eugene Williams (Sheilah Hobbs-Williams), Jerry Arthur Williams (Rachel Williams) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends especially Cecilia "CeCe" Scott (a best friend of 50 years) and Barbara Barnes (30+ years).
