Obituary

Jermaine Anthony Thompson suddenly departed this world on March 11, 2025. Born on January 23, 1974,
Jermaine was the youngest of seven children, and was cherished by his loving parents, Lois C.
Thompson and John Stevenson, in Houston, Texas.
Jermaine was introduced to Christianity in his teenage years. He became a member of Windsor Village
United Methodist Church.
His education led him through St. Peter's Catholic School, Sharpstown Middle School, Lamar High
School, and Contemporary Learning Center. He carried the lessons he learned with him throughout his
life.
Jermaine spent many years as a residential and commercial mover with A-Rocket Moving Company and
Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of working
alongside him.
More than anything, Jermaine was big-hearted and kind. He had an unwavering willingness to help
others and was known for his generosity. If you were ever in need, his favorite phrase was, "I GOT
YOU!" a testament to his selflessness and loyalty.
Jermaine took great pride in his appearance, always keeping himself neat and stylish, with a
special fondness for the color blue. He had a deep love for sports, music, and a special connection
with animals. His family never knew what animal he might bring home as they were often surprised by
his  new pets, ranging from dogs and fish to more exotic creatures like snakes, iguanas, turtles…
and even rats!
Jermaine was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lois C. Thompson and John Stevenson. He
leaves behind his children, siblings, family, and many dear friends, who will forever hold his
memory in their hearts.
Though Jermaine's presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the love, kindness,
and unwavering support he showed to those around him.
I GOT YOU! "Jermaine, we will always carry your love with us. Rest in Peace.
