Jesse Keith Gibson was born on September 14, 1961, in Houston, Texas, to Precious Pearl Nickerson and Jesse Lee Gibson.

Jesse received this education through the Houston Independence School District.  Afterwards began his career at the City of South Houston, where he worked for 35 years, until his passing.

He was a loving father, who adored his daughter and sons.  Keith loved fishing, hunting, cooking and trail rides. He had a daily routine of working, spending time with his friends at the barn and ending his night at this brother's home.  He always had to stop by to visit his best friend "SCAR".

Jesse was preceded in death by his mother Precious Pearl Nickerson, father Jesse Lee Gibson, and his siblings Thelma Artis and Arthur "Bug" Nickerson.

Those left to mourn his loss include wife, Karen Gibson, daughter Chequetta, sons Jesse Jr. and Ivory Dwaine, two grandchildren Erin and Jase, one sister Carolyn, two brothers Donald (Patricia), and Michael (Sibyl), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
