Miss. Katrinna Danielle Washington was born June 26, 1991, in Houston, TX, to Yolanda Marks. Katrinna was later adopted by Shelly B. Marsh Washington, and Daniel C. Washington, being reared by her adoptive parents; she accepted Christ at an early age.

She was a proud graduate of Thurgood Marshall High School, where she explored her gift of dance and participated on the dance team and the band Flag team. Katrinna, by nature, was a caretaker and made a career of nurturing and teaching preschool children whose artwork was a cherished keepsake for her. Her impact on countless children and their parents was a testament to her unselfish and loving personality. Katrina was a dedicated member of Sista 2 Sista, where she enjoyed retreats, volunteering, bible study, and sisterhood. Katrinna's love for spending time with family, making people laugh, and sharing smiles highlighted her warm and caring nature.

Katrinna was called to be with the Lord on January 01, 2024. Katrinna was preceded in death by her parents, Yolonda Marks and Shelly B. Marsh Washington.

Her life will be fondly remembered by those closest to her, especially her daughter, Winter L. Gross; her father, Daniel C. Washington; her siblings: Tanika Brown, Pauletta Washington, Merrika Washington-Winters (Jesus), Tamika Marks, Markus

Washington, and Kenneth Givens (Sharmel) and Dekendrick Johnson who shared a special place in her heart. The bonds of family and the connection she shared with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends are a testament to the impact she had on the lives of many.
