Kenneth Ray "Puggie" Robinson was born on February 10, 1947 to the late Harold and Dorothy Coleman Robinson in Abbeville, Louisiana. He moved to Houston, Tx in his late teen years. Later he went on to work for Centerpoint Energy. After working there for 37 years, he retired in 2008. Kenneth loved dancing and cooking. His greatest pleasure was watching everyone enjoy his cooking. Even with all His health problems in the past years, he never lost that spirit to help and encourage others.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his loving wife of 42 years Cassandra Ash Robinson; his beloved children, Chimiara Robinson, Kimberly Robinson Johnson, Sammy Robinson, Kendra (Mike) Thymes and Christian W. Robinson, all of Houston, Texas. His siblings Alyce Robinson and Patricia Plowden of Abbeville, LA, Tracey Robinson of Houston, Phillip Robinson and Cleveland Robinson of Houston. Two Sisters-in-law Sheila (Albert) Riston and Inga Ash. He was blessed with 20 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.  A host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, Sister Barbara Hill, Brothers; Richard Robinson, Charles Robinson and Harold Young
