Kevin Wayne
Foster
Feb 21, 1967 — Aug 25, 2024
Kevin Foster was born on February 21, 1967, to Minnie Nichols and Sam Foster in Houston, TX. At an early age, Kevin was baptized at Outreach Missionary Baptist Church, where he found joy in singing in the choir. His faith and love for music were constants throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Lamar High School's class of 1987, Kevin was known for his strong work ethic and diverse career. He worked for several prominent companies, including Solvay Chemical, MCI, and Pottery Barn. Though he never had children of his own, Kevin's love and care for his nieces and nephews were evident in everything he did. He treated them as if they were his own, always providing guidance, love, and support.
Kevin had a passion for sewing and decorating, and he took great pride in being a skilled handyman. Whether fixing things around the house or creating something beautiful with his hands, Kevin's talents were many, and he was always eager to help others with his skills.
Known for his fun-loving personality and giving spirit, Kevin never met a stranger. He loved his family deeply and would do anything for them. Kevin was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back, always ready to lend a helping hand and brighten someone's day with his infectious smile and generous heart.
Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Minnie Foster, and his brother, Jefferson Phillips. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Sam Foster (Florence), partner Ian, siblings Pheadra, Royce (Renee), Mia, Tara (Maurice), Jonathan (Shay), Dana (Keith), and Jerrin (Brandy), best friend Beverly along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Kevin Foster's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love for family will be remembered and cherished always.
