Celebrating the life and legacy of Ladatra Sharnee Sanders

October 22,1969 – September 5, 2024

Ladatra Sharnee Sanders was a sweet, loving and devoted, mother, daughter, aunt, and sister, a devoted Christian, who was known by many for her calm and pleasant demeanor. Ladatra began her life October 22, 1969 to the late Edward Jones and Jeannie Moses Sanders where she attended public school in Alexandria, Louisiana. She graduated with honors from Peabodyhigh school in 1987. After graduation, Ladatra enrolled at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana to pursue her bachelors of science in public health. With a decision to further her education, she went on to receive her Master's degree in education and human performance from University of New Orleans. Ladatra accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend R.B Bennett while attending university,Ladatra continued her Christian journey by attending Greater Saint Stephen full gospel Church. Later, she joined Beacon Light Full Gospel Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Darryl S Brister. She worked faithfully and served at many capacities at Beacon Light for many years. Due to Katrina, she relocated to Texas and decided to visit and later become a member of Word of Restoration where she and her daughter enjoyed attending.

Ladatra supported the youth ministry at word of restoration. She not only devoted her life into giving and sowing back into the Lord's people buy also doing so in her professional career.Ladatra worked diligently for over 10 years with Vantage Hospice as a Territory Manager. Ladatra leaves to cherish to leave her mother Jeannie Moses Sanders, her daughter, Jasmine, Janay Blackman of Manvel, Texas. Sister Ginger B Sanders of Iowa Colony, Texas. Two brothers Eric D Sanders, Baton Rouge, Louisiana Kenneth W. Sanders, Houston, Texas. Calvin Moses, Chicago, Illinois and Joseph Moses III Minneapolis, Minnesota.  One Aunt Betty Moses of Minneapolis, Minnesota and a host of nephews.
