Obituary

Lawrence Leon Ealy, a cherished soul, was welcomed into this world by his loving parents, Leon Lawrence Ealy and Betty Joyce Glenn Ealy, on the 29th of November 1969, in the city of Houston, Texas. With a spirit full of promise, Lawrence walked the halls of Mirabeau Lamar High School and adorned with the achievement of scholarship, graduated in the year of 1988.

Aman of faith and devotion, Lawrence was baptized in his youth, an early testament to his lifelong commitment to his Savior. Throughout his years, he found solace and community within the walls of Southland Community Baptist Church, where he practiced his faith with sincerity and reverence.

Lawrence's heart knew no bounds, filled with an outpouring of love for his family, friends, and al of God's creation. His generosity was abundant, and his love for his children unwavering. He found joy in the simplest of life's offerings: the harmony of music, the comfort of a well-cooked meal, and the camaraderie found in the sport of basketball, a pastime of his younger days.

He was a man of elegance, presenting himself with the grace and respect that reflected his inner character. Lawrence's kindness and compassion were a light to those around him, and his wisdom was shared with a gentle humility.

On the 12th day of March, in the year 2024, Lawrence was called to his eternal rest. His departure from this earthly realm has left a void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Yet, we take comfort in the knowledge that he has been welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven, where he shall dwell in the presence of our Lord.

Lawrence's memory will be treasured and kept alive by his beloved sons, Travis, Mason, and

Dillion; his daughters, A' Treasure and Hailey; his cherished grandchildren, A'Layah, Aubree, Eric, and Davontae; along with a host of relatives and friends who were blessed by his presence in their Lives.

As we bid farewell to Lawrence, we are reminded of the beauty of a life well-lived, and we hold fast to the hope of reuniting with him in the life to come. May he rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire us all.
