Obituary

Leonard Green III, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the age of 36. Leonard was born on December 17, 1988, to the late Karen Evelena Parrish Barnes and Leonard Green Jr. in Missouri City, Texas, where he was raised and graduated from Thurgood Marshall High School.

Leonard was a man of many talents and a heart full of love. Known for his energetic, funny, and adventurous spirit, he was the kind of person who could light up any room. He never met a stranger and always made sure those around him knew they were appreciated. Whether it was through his infectious smile, his ability to cook a delicious meal, or his knack for making everyone laugh, Leonard's presence was a blessing to all who knew him.

A gifted barber, a comedian at heart, and a fiercely competitive lover of sports and music, Leonard gave his all to everything he did. He was known for his hard work and generosity, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Above all, Leonard will be remembered for his deep love of family and friends, and for the kindness, charm, and joy he brought into the world.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Green Jr.; mother, Karen Evelena Parrish Barnes; paternal grandmother, Gloria Jean Green; paternal grandfather, Leonard Green; maternal grandmother, Effie D. Parrish; and maternal grandfather, J.P. Parrish.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, Gloria, Elizabeth, Theresa, Misty; brother, Joshua; nieces, Ebony and Faith Green; nephew, Jaqwan Green; as well as a host of aunts,
uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
