Linda Fay McKinzy was one of the children born to Ethel Barbara Lindsey on January 13, 1961, in Houston, Texas. Linda was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Reverand Green. A proud graduate of the Class of 1979 from Jefferson Davis High School, Linda was a spirited and vibrant member of her high school's majorette team, bringing energy and grace to every performance. She went on to earn her diploma in Accounting from Massey Business College, a reflection of her dedication to lifelong learning and professional excellence.

A woman of deep faith, Linda was an active and faithful member of Fellowship of Purpose Church, where she found joy in worship and fellowship with her church family. Her spiritual life was evident in her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those around her.

Above all, Linda, affectionately known as MiMi and Londa, treasured her family. She was a proud and loving mother to her only child, a son, Bruce "BJ", and found her greatest joy in spending time with her two beloved grandsons, Bruce "Trey" and Bryce "Baby Jesus". Her face lit up when she spoke of her "grandbabies," and she poured endless love into every moment shared with them.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength to be cherished by her devoted son, Bruce McKinzy Jr. (Alicia). Her precious grandsons, Bruce Edward McKinzy III and Bryce Ethan McKinzy. Her loving sisters, Quintina Lindsey and Rosalind Lindsey. One Niece, Sherry Bean. Four nephews, Denerick Lindsey, Darius Lindsey, Devonta Lindsey, and Dorian Lindsey. One Uncle, Robert Dell Lindsey (Willie). Her church family, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends whose lives she touched.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Ethel Lindsey, and her sister, Sherry Nolan.

Linda will be remembered for her warm smile, her fierce love for her family, and the grace with which she carried herself through life. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
