Linda Daphne Sanders Delahoussaye was born on November 10, 1957, in Houston, Texas, to the late Lorine Maxine Sanders and William Tyree Sanders Jr. A proud graduate of Jack Yates High School, Linda went on to earn academic honors at Chenier Business College, later building a devoted career in security services, including more than a decade at Allen Center Parkway in Downtown Houston and  many years serving the City of Houston until her retirement in May 2024.

Linda was much more than her accomplishments — she was a woman of strength, style, and soul. Whether she was bowling with a steady 170 average, cooking with love, or cheering on her grandbabies, she did everything with grace and heart. She was a member of The Church at Bethel's and believed in loving everyone in her own beautiful way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, spouse Krishna Ponder, several loved ones, and her beloved great-granddaughter Mariah Love Burton. She leaves behind her children Erica(Ms.Dee), Lacherrie (Erik), Melissa(August),Jada, and Jordan; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a large, loving family of nieces, nephews, and godchildren; and countless others she treated as her own.

Linda's life was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her light will never fade.
