Louran Ann Gipson Jefferson ,affectionately as 'Laura-B',passed away on
January 31,2026,in Houston,Texas,at the age of 75.Born June 6,1950,in Houston,she
Remained a proud Texan throughout her life.Louran was educated in the El Campo public
School system and later attended Wharton junior college.her passion for music and service.

To others shaped much of her life's journey.A gifted musician who played the organ entirely by ear,
She never needed the sheet music-her talent was  instinctive and soulful.Those who heard her play often compared her to Ray Charles for the way she brought spirit and rhythm to every note.In addition to her musical ministry
Louran worked as a certified Nursing Assistant,,she carried herself with grace,pride,and determination with
Life challenges.Louran also had a playful side.She loved playing the Texas lottery and often joked that it was both her
Entertainment and extra source of income.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memories:3 sisters-Peggy,cynthia,and Olivia;
3 sons-Michael(Aisha)Willard(Annie)Howard(Candice)Jefferson;One Daughter-Keshia(Melvin)Kelsey
15 Grandchildren,19 Great-great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles,cousins,nieces,and nephews.
And Ms. Cora ,and Ms .Clorinda of pilgrim place her life saving neighbor whom always watched out for her.
She is reunited in peace with her beloved husband William Harness,her parents Olivia Brown and George Jefferson,brother Michael Runnels ,son Curtis Jefferson,and daughter Lawanda Jefferson.

Laura-B  legacy lives on through the music she shared so freely, the lives she touched through care and
Kindness,and the family carries forward her light.May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and
