Lucille Lila White was born April 13, 1943, to Feda White and Mary A. Beatrice Franklin in Richmond, Texas.

She received Christ at an early age.  She attended school in Richmond, Texas and later moved to Houston, Texas.  She began her career as a Custodial Engineer at various schools in the Houston Independent School District until she retired.

Lucille enjoyed shopping, shopping, shopping, cooking, going to the casino and listening to her favorite gospel music.  She loved to sit around with family and share stories about our history.

She leaves to cherish her memory her life companion Mr. Melvin berry, a brother James Walker, a daughter, Nedna Darlene White, a grandson Christopher Royce white, a great granddaughter, Christina White, a bonus son, Jeffery Wilson great granddaughter, Olivia Ocha and great grandson, Trevon Williams.  Also her best friend and shopping partner, Audry Cooper, a host of nieces, nephews and family members.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Fado Whie and Mary Beatrice Franklin, sister, Emma Catherine Walker, brothers, Franklin Walker, Joe Lewis, Otis White and John Henry White.
