Marcia Lucille (Terrell) Fields

On January 21, 1950, a baby girl was born to Myrtle and Albert Terrell. They named her Marcia Lucille Terrell.

At an early age, Marcia accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Wilt Banks.

Marcia attended Houston Public Schools, including B.H. Grimes Elementary School, Sunnyside Elementary School, Crispus Attucks Junior High School, and Evan E. Worthing High School. She later attended Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University for a brief period. Marcia also completed IBM, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and Medication Administration training at Houston Community College. She later became a Medication Supervisor at an assisted living facility, where she faithfully worked until her health no longer allowed her to continue.

In 1970, Marcia married Leon R. Fields, Sr. To this union, five children were born: Racquel, Leona, Leon Jr., Robin, and Loretta.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Leon R. Fields, Sr.; her infant daughter, Robbie; her father, Albert Terrell; her sister, Connie; her brother, Ray; her grandfather; and her aunt.
