Mrs. Margie Nell Segura (Brown) was born on February 9, 1932, in Liberty, Texas. She spent her adult years in Crowley, Louisiana, before moving to Houston, Texas, in 1957.

She is preceded in death by her mother Stella McCoy, her husband Virdner P. Segura, and her son Vernon C. Segura.

Margie worked in retail for many years at Ester Wolf and Sakowitz. In her later years, she was employed at Texas Commerce Bank in Downtown Houston as a distribution clerk. She retired from this position in 1995.

Margie had a strong faith in God and family. She entered into eternal and peaceful rest on the morning of September 9, 2025. She leaves to mourn her death, son Ronald Carl Segura, daughter Linda Marie Jones (Nelson), grandchildren Angelique Yvonne Jones, Nelson Earl Jones Jr., and Vernon Charles Segura Jr., great-grandson Tyrell Dominique Jones (Antranique), and great - great granddaughter Erin Michele Jones and great - great grandson Tyrell Dominique Jones Jr., as well as other extended family members and friends.
