Marguerite Reynolds Hall was born March 21, 1933 in Syracuse New York. She was the only child of Marion Reynolds. She was reared by her mother and grandparents the late Dean and Mrs. J. R. Reynolds.

She was a 1950 graduate of Jack Yates and a 1954 graduate of Texas Southern University with a B.S. degree in education.

After teaching for many years in HISD. She met her husband, John D. Hall who preceded her in death. This union blessed her with three children, Laurita Hall, John D. Hall Jr, and Stephanie Davis (Rodney); seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Her church affiliations started at Trinity East UMC, under the leadership of the late Dr. J. S. Scott. After moving to the Sunnyside area, she reunited with Dr. Scott and became a charter member of Jones Memorial UMC.

She enjoyed singing in the choirs, Sunday School class, Bible Studies and the Trustees.

During her retirement years she continued to work in the Real Estate business.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Laurita Hall, Stephanie Davis (Rodney) one son John D. Hall Jr, seven grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
