Life Reflections

Marinetta "Moonie/Lady Bug" Veronica Davis was born September 7, 1935 to Frank St. Cyr and Gladys Smith St. Cyr of New Roads, Louisiana. She accepted Christ at an early age.  She was a native of New Roads, Louisiana and a resident of Houston, Texas.

She married Wallace Joseph George and to this union was born, Wallace Jr, Brenda, Cecelia, Faye, Sandra and Meloney.

She later married Vernon Davis and to this union was the adoption of her granddaughter Keisha George.

On December 31, Moonie answered the Lord's call and gained her wings. Moonie is preceded in death by her husbands – Wallace George & Vernon Davis, brothers, Frank, Jr. Isiah, Floyd, Willie, Lester, Michale, Greg, Lionell and sisters Gladys, Viola, Doris, Alberta, Betty son Wallace George Jr., daughters Brenda and Faye George.

She leaves to cherish her memories

Sister, Wanda St. Cyr, daughter-in-law:  Dinell George, daughters Cecelia George, Sandra George/Pamela Frazier, Meloney Roberson/Russell Simon, Keisha Davis (daughter/granddaughter), grandchildren: Tammy, Tonya, Timothy, Monica, Bobby, Jason, Shuntell, Michelle, Tyrone, Sharele, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
