Obituary

Marshall William Thibideaux was born January 2, 1950, in Beaumont, Texas, to Alberta Thibideaux and M. Williams. Marshall was an only child. While being raised in Beaumont, he attended Blanchette Elementary and Hebert High School.  After graduating from Job Corps, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served from 1968-1971.

After transitioning from the Army in 1971, Marshall moved to Houston, Texas. He was employed in various industries: butcher (Zummo), insurance salesman (Reliable Life), truck driver (Blacks Carriage House; Blue Ribbon), before retiring after 26 years in the security industry with Sterling Bank.

Marshall "The Josher" enjoyed being active, gardening, and spending time with his family.  He had one of the biggest hearts ever and a sense of humor that would not quit!  It gave him much pleasure helping and caring for others. He enjoyed mentoring and teaching young people--referencing the Word of God. Marshall accepted Jesus Christ as a child while attending St. John Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas.  He truly loved reading, sharing, and quoting the Bible and playing his guitar.
