Mason Grant Stewart was born to Angela Juanita Stewart and Rodney Donnell Stewart on June 20, 2008, in Sugar Land, Texas. He was a member of The Fountain of Praise Church in Houston, Texas.

Mason attended Good News Christian Academy, Stafford Elementary, Middle, and Early College and Career High School. He joined The Fountain of Praise on August 7, 2016. Mason enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad. He also participated in high school sports and leisure activities such as football, boxing, weightlifting, and video games. Mason had also developed a great culinary aptitude just like his Dad. He also enjoyed traveling to different places that required passport usage with his family.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Helen Grant and William Adams; paternal grandparents, John Wesley Stewart and Sheryl Bolden; and uncle, Reginald (Veronica) Stewart.

Mason leaves to cherish his memories: his loving father Rodney Donnell Stewart; sisters, Morgan D'Angela Sims and Brooklyn Elise Stewart; grandmother, Norma D. Stewart-Harrell; uncles, Harry Bill Twine, and Raymond T. (Susanne) Stewart; aunts, Brenda Brown, Latoya (Nii Anyetei) Adjei, Falonia (Samuel Sr.) Amos, and Sherry Bolden, Angela Byrd (Lester, Jr.); and a host of cousins and friends.

Angela and Mason will be deeply missed by husband/dad and daughters/sisters.
