Obituary

Micheal Ray Davis was born in Houston, TX on May 16,1959, to Velma Daivs and Emile Thomas. As a child Mike was received in Christ and baptized at Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the  pastorate of Rev. Will Henry Simon Sr. Mike continued his faith in life and became a member of Pentecostal Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Acie J. Jefferson Jr.

Micheal attended Sunnyside Elementary, Christopher Addicks Jr, and finished Highschool at Evan E. Worthing. While in high school he found his passion in woodshop where he excelled and mastered the craft of woodshop and placed first in the states "National Championship" in Austin, Texas 3 years  in a row. He enjoyed the sport of Baseball and joined the Worthing Baseball Team. Bry's first job was Gulf Coast Community Center and held the job title of a "Social Worker". Over  the years Bry became an entrepreneur and self-employed as a "Carpenter and Landscaper". Bry made a  way for himself and later became a man that served is community and earned the name "Bry" to most  and "Big Mike" to many.

During Bry's last days he was TOUGH, BRAVE, AND VERY COURAGUES! Bry had a heart bigger than life itself. Bry was a person that you could depend on. He was a man of integrity, and his word was BOND! Bry loved his family! Bry had a goal to build a relationship with his one and only son Brodrick and he did just that. Bry was also a proud grandfather. Bry loved his siblings and he made sure that he had a bond with all his nieces and nephews.

On February 21,2024 Micheal gave us a shock of our lives! Life stopped at 5:11 AM for Micheal. While the world was sleeping Micheal heard God call his name "MICHEAL RAY DAVIS" and reached his hand out and stepped into those "White Pearly Golden Gates".

When it's all over…. Micheal has left his legacy to his son Brodrick Punch and granddaughter Brooklyn Punch. Micheal is set free from all pain and suffering. Bry was welcomed home by his Mother Velma Lee Davis- Collins, Father Emile Thomas, brother Reginald Wayne Davis, aunts, uncles, family, and friends, Bry leaves to cherish his memories his son Brodrick Punch, granddaughter Brooklyn Punch, siblings: Warren Davis (Patricia), Demita Jo Akinwande (Taiwo), Jacquelene Collins, and Kimberly Collins.
