Micheal Keith LeBlanc was born on May 5, 1962 in Wichita Kansas. He was the first born son of Alvin Lee LeBlanc II and Felma Ruth Fontenot LeBlanc. He developed a belief in God, his intellectual wit, and his athletic abilities during his elementary, middle, and high school years. Micheal was recognized for his talents in both Football and Track and was a proud graduate of Willowridge High School, class of 1981.
Due to his outstanding athletic talents, he received a 4 year scholarship to Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches Texas. While attending Stephen F. Austin he was selected in the 1987 NFL draft by theNew England Patriots. During his professional football career, he also played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
During his college years, Michael pledged and crossed the burning sands into the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in the spring of 1988. He was very committed to his fraternity and upheld the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift. His devotion to the fraternity and his birth chapter, Omega Beta was evident in his everyday life.
He married Karen Johnson, his high school sweetheart, which brought both of them immense joy and happiness. He had a passion for Blue, his devoted dog. Micheal's natural talents included storytelling, and his ability to communicate with and motivate young people.
His extensive career in education left a profound legacy of inspiring students to recognize their potential and inherent aptitude. Especially students at Ambassadors Preparatory Academy in Galveston Texas and Fort Bend ISD. He was a hands-on instructor and a role model for all students to follow.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin Lee LeBlanc II and Felma Ruth Fontenot LeBlanc and his brother Mark Anthony LeBlanc. Cherishing the life and memory of Micheal Keith LeBlanc are his wife Karen Johnson LeBlanc, brothers Alvin Lee LeBlanc III and John Stevens LeBlanc, children Marquitta LeBlanc and Miles LeBlanc, and grandson Aaden Pemberton. Micheal also leaves a host of family and friends too numerous to count, but not forgotten.
Micheal took his role as family protector very seriously. Ask any family member and they have a story to tell. No matter what environment Michaelwas in, he made an impact.
