Newman Bolden was born on August 24, 1946 to the late Cornelious and Zenobia Bolden.  He was on of ten siblings.

Newman graduated form South Down High School in Houma, LA.  After graduating Newman entered the Airforce and served four years.  Newman graduated from Texas Southern Univerfsity with a degree in accounting.

Newman accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.  Newman was United in Holy Matrimony to Mary Geneva Guillory on September 3, 1977.  To this union they were blessed with daughter Denise Marie Bolden and son Brandon Cornelious Bolden.

Newman was always encouraging his family with the Word of God.  Newman joined New Light Church under the leadership of Apostle I. V. Hilliard and Pastor Bridget Hilliard and continued under the leadership of Senior Pastor Irishea Hilliard.

Newman completed Light Bible Institute and Ministers Development Institute.  Newman wa son staff and served on Excellent Team as an usher.

Newman passed away February 10, 2024, at the V.A. Hospital surrounded by wife Mary, daughter Denise and son Brandon.

Newman leaves to cherish him memory wife, Mary Bolden, daughter, Denise Bolden, son Brandon Bolden, one sister, Oneal Fenderson of Miami Gardens, :FL, two brothers, Cornelious Bolden (Vera) of Gibson, LA, Carney Bolden of Lake Elsinore, CA and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Newman is preceded in death by his parents, Cornelious and Zenobia Bolden, four sisters, Doris Kane, Muriel Tyler, Gaynell Castle and Ocea Bolden, two brothers, Archie Bolden and Rudolph Bolden.
