Normie Anderson Green was born on October 18, 1941, in Wharton, Texas, to Thelma Gordon and Reverend Sinclair Anderson. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Reverend McKinley.
Normie grew up in Glen Flora, Texas, and graduated from T.L. Pink High School. After moving to Houston, she married, and was granted with her children JoAnn, Reginald, and Rachael Green.
She worked at L'amor Village for many years alongside her sister, Bertha Tezeno. She was also a foster parent for many years, providing love and care to many children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Sinclair Anderson; four brothers, George, Clyde, St. Clair Anderson, Robert and one sister, Bertha Tezeno.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children: JoAnn, Reginald Sr. (Juana), and Racquel (James) of Houston; grandchildren Brittany, Reginald I, Reginald II (Dot), Elizabeth, Armanda, Xavier, J'zaiah, Javion, and King; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews Shariel, Rita, Nedra, Verlinda, Shelia, Cynthia, John, Kenneth, Nikki, and Aaron Jr., cousins, and other family and friends who loved her dearly.
