Obituary

Ora Lee Estes, born to the parents Orow Douglas butler and Juanita Burler, she accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Hebron Baptist Church, where she joyfully served and shared her God-given talent as a pianist.  Her faith was the foundation of her life, and her lover mor music touched every heart that heard her play.

She attended Cosmetology School where she discovered her passion for beauty and creativity. Early in life she worked with Southwestern Bell, showcasing her strong work ethic and drive, qualities that would define her throughout her life.

She was a loving, charismatic, and funny woman whose smile w=could brighten any room.  A true life of the party, she had a quick wit, a big heart, and a personality that made everyone feel welcome.  She was headstrong, independent, and the definition of a natural born hustler, always finding a way to make things happen for her family.

Known for her delicious cooking, she was hands down the best food cook around.  Family and friends will forever remember her for her comforting meals, contagious laughter, and the wise, witty quotes that made everyone laugh and think at the same time.

She was devoted and proud mother of nine beautiful children, cherishing her role as the heart and soul of her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her sister, Lucille Estes, her brothers, Cleophus Butlr, Rev. Samule Butler, and Ore Butler, and her sons Robert Allen Butler and Kenneth Butler.  They await her heavenly arrival with open arms.

She leaves to continue her legacy, seven living children, daughters: Juanita Butler, Carla Hudgen, Jessica Louis, and Jainell Velazquez; sons, Norris Butler, Harold Ebenezer, and Alfred Estes.

She is also lovingly remembered by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, along with any relatives and friends who will forever cherish her vibrant spirit and beautiful memory.
