Oscar B. Johnson, Jr. was an adventurous spirit who left an incredible mark on those who knew him. He passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born to Oscar Johnson, Sr. and Thelma Johnson, Oscar was always a man of curiosity, passion, and energy. He worked in  a variety of fields over his lifetime, from oil rigs to fiber optics, and as a draftsman. His career was driven by a love of problem-solving, and his ability to navigate complex challenges was matched only by his deep fascination with the mysteries of the world. Among his many interests, Oscar was especially       captivated by the pyramids of Egypt, their history inspiring a sense of wonder that he carried throughout his life.

Above all, Oscar's greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment with his children and  grand-children, and his love for them was evident in all that he did. He was preceded in death by his father,  Oscar B. Johnson, Sr., his mother,  Thelma Johnson, and his brother, Vernon Johnson. Oscar leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Patricia Johnson, Sonya Slater; his children, Oscar Johnson III, Chenise Johnson (Ta); grandchildren, Oscar IV, Roama, and Calyn; a host of nephews, cousins, and many dear friends who were blessed to know him. Oscar's legacy lives on through the impact he made, the puzzles he solved, and the love he shared  with all who knew him. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
